Final Question

If you want to see my high school analysis you can go on down below. If you want to see the top splits of PA guys at Penn Relays then you are at the right place!

5. How'd PA do at the college level?

Special shout out to my boy Sam Ellison for anchoring Villanova to a victory in the 4x8 with his 1:46.58 anchor leg. Dude is the man.

Also worth noting, a 50+ year old man ran 53.76 in the 400m. That's pretty awesome.

  1. Also Brendan Shearn running 29:49 in the 10k? That is pretty noteworthy, especially as a college freshmen. Even for high school studs like Shearn, it's uncommon for any freshmen in college to be ready to run a really fast 5k.

  2. ^You meant 10k^

Somewhat disappointing that Magaha doesn't seem to have gotten back to his HS level yet, although a 63 second 500 this indoor season was really impressive (roughly 51 400 pace).

    1. He's had some nice splits too, 1:48.4 indoors and a couple 1:50s as well.

  3. It looks like South Williamsport has been added to the Henderson Invite attending list which mean Griffin Molino will hopefully be in the 3200 too. Although if he decides on the 1600 that’s usually also quality at this meet, but the 3200 historically is the bigger race here. That’s a great move by his coaches for this kid, to get in a stacked race like this one. He hasn’t gotten much talk on the blogs but this guy went 4:12.9 in the 1600 on his own, then came back on the double with a 9:36, also unchallenged. That’s an incredible jump to another level in the 1600 so it will be interesting to see what he can do in a very competitive race at either distance.

    2. Thought I saw that Magaha split a 1:49 on Penn's DMR.

    3. Ellison and Lefebure are the most impressive. Magaha was good, but needs to go back to the mile and break 4:00. Where's Willig?

If the wind stays down the Henderson 3200 is going sub 9:00.
