It's summer time and, as one musical group said, the living is easy. I can't remember the name of the band, but it was probably something sublime. We may never know. But we will know the results of various polls going on the blog very soon.
Did someone say various polls?! Yeah, I did! Guys, how exciting is this? Wait, I didn't explain anything yet I've just been talking to myself. I'm sorry. There hasn't been that much track to talk about and I've been going a little crazy.
So here's the plan. First, let's talk about the Etrain 11 Racing Series real quick. There's a poll to vote on the team's that will advance to the state finals. Now, this poll is going to close this coming Friday night at 11:59 PM. Then we will set the line-ups, add some at large individuals and host the official Etrain Cross Country State Finals on Thursday, July 6th. I'll talk more about how it's going to work when we get closer, but I'll be announcing the race live at 8 o'clock here on the sight with full play by play commentary. Live results will pop up on the site as we go so you can follow along and enjoy a live racing experience.
But the big event will be the second annual Etrain Oscars. Now, we want to give every single reader as many chances as possible to vote in this prestigious event. Since the top 3 in each category will be announced on awards night, there are still some categories up for grabs. This vote closes at 11:59 PM this coming Sunday. Then the awards show is going to be held on Thursday, June 29th at 8 PM. You can click onto this blog and watch the awards live. I won't be as good as Drake on the NBA awards show, but we at least won't have commercials. So there's that.
