So here are my projected starting line ups for the final heat of the DMR. Please let me know if there is a team I'm missing or if you have some information that suggests a different order or group of names is best. I will be getting to work on writing up the race ASAP so get back to me quickly.
Great Valley: N Willig, McCary, Wolffe, M Willig
Cumberland Valley: Coburn, Bush, Flynn, Kunzweiler
CRN: Zingarini, Whalman, Simmons, Wilson
Henderson: Russell, Hall, Lefebure, Barchet
O'Hara: James, Gallen, Smart, Belfatto
LaSalle: Stone, Hardy, Magee, Coyle
Bensalem: Rivera, Elijah, Cox Finn, Francis
Pennsbury: Sauer, Snorweah, O'Connell, Harriman
State College: Adams, Shisler, Post, Cather
Altoona: Mountain, Stamford, Replogle, Endress
Strath Haven: Seelaus, Zaza, Collins, Huemmler
North Allegheny: Beiech, Luoco, Tonzo, Gil
North Penn: Trimble, Gaibler, Grace, MaCauley
Wissahickon: Cho, Stellato, Brooks, Farrell
Horsham: Hibbs, Dempster, Burns, Comber
Fox Chapel: Martin, Marrinweh, Graca, Martin
Central Bucks South: Waddington, Hynes, Dickson, Gregor
I'd put Francis on the leadoff for Bensalem. that would make that lead off leg ridiculous with Francis, Stone, Willig and Russell. Maybe, Thompson over Hall for Henderson's DMR.
ReplyDeleteIf you throw Francis in the lead off leg, they run a great lead off but lose a great anchor ... Not sure it's worth the switch
DeleteHall ran sub 50 on a few occasions, while Thompson never broke 51
DeleteIf Francis anchors, he's buried and goes out too fast. At least if he's leading off, they stay in the hunt for a little while and make things interesting.
DeleteThompson has broken 51, you can see it on his penn relays split ... i'll switch francis to the lead off and rivera to the anchor if you would like

Maybe as a fun one like you had for CB 2010. You could do a 2014 SC if Russel didn't move. Cather, Smith, Post, Russel.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't count as Henderson training is totally different than SC
DeleteMalvern- mcdevitt, bruer, ferriolo, hoey
ReplyDeleteGood catch, I had malvern on my list but must have messed up copying them over or something
DeleteYou think Campbell could make that DMR team? As lead off or anchor? I feel like he could.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Sauer over Webb and O'Connell over Sauer? I think Webb went 3:08 sophomore year and then this year came back off injury and killed it. That and Sauer's an 800 medalist.
I don't think he should do a "what if" someone didn't move (or did) because you could play that game all day long.

If Webb really split 3:08 then we can have a conversation bc that 3:08 would be moving, do u have a location on this? Webb is still only a 1:58/4:20ish guy by pr while Harriman is 4:16ish and Sauer is 1:53ish/4:20 ... I would argue for Harriman at 1200 and Webb at the anchor before Webb at the 12 cuz Harriman has more speed ... If u can find me the race with his 3:08 tho I would most likely change my mind about my order
DeleteAs for Campell I see him as very similar in ability to Zingarini but James with a bit more speed ... The two of them are basically the same 1200 leg and Ross is faster than both overall ... U don't want to take an 8:56 guy off your relay
Great points, I can't even remember about Webb but I believe it was last year indoor, at that one race where PB, CRN, and Bensalem always go... Portia or something like that. I'll check up.

A really small point, Wahlman's name is spelled Whalman on the CRN DMR squad (400 leg). But I agree that Zing should be the 1200 leg over Campbell.
DeleteI may make the move to a harriman snorweah sauer webb order now that you point it out ... that may be the fastest one as i think harriman could run a nice 12 ... i'll look into it as well

Rivera was like 3:13ish. There is a mile split article with the splits that I found. I decided to alter the order tho bc I liked ur suggestion ... I'm running it Harriman to snorweah to Sauer to Webb as u will see shortly in the first post haha
