Absolutely swamped with work so this is the fastest 5 things I can get out in between classes:
1. Oregon is stacked and Eddy Ches is for real, the DMR at NCAAs with them and PSU is going to be amazing. Don't sleep on Nova either with Stanford being the deep sleeper
2. Wissahickon 4x4 on the PTFCA scene is shaping up as a nice sleeper pick ... they just ran 3:30 at Glenn Mills
3. Colin Martin was ready to roll ... TSTCA will shake things up nicely for the east coasters
4. Charlie Marquardt 4:10! Centennial conference throws down in a few more 3ks and miles to make the conference list look like it could compete with a few D1 conferences ... With Steinbock throwing down an 8:24 of his own, there are 4 under 8:30 in the 3k with a boat load more under 8:40 that includes new addition Greg Clark from Dickinson ... the 800m still doesn't look all that deep yet, however ... maybe the Olenginskis will change that soon ...
5. I'm not sure NJ-NY or Brooks is going to set that record anymore, I haven't been all that impressed by what they have done so far but hey ... I will probably go back and forth on this like 5 more times between now and race day
PS All the pro runners play settlers of cattan ... I'm not kidding
