  1. Pretty sad i wasn't invited to this convo :(
    1. As far as Juniors go, we've seen Ronald Kwemoi run sub 3:30 at the age of 18, and like Braizer said in an interview the 800m at Juniors last year was won in 1:44. I agree that he looked great, but Juniors will be more competitive than you all considered. Also notice his coach's want to stay him at juniors, so i think he moves with that decision. I also agree with Jarrett's point that the Olympic Trials are much longer with 3 rounds instead of 2 and that takes a lot more out of you. He's a younger guy, go for your age group.

    2. I really like Murphy and how dominant he has been, yet calling him to run 1:43 is a bit much. I think there is a reason he's been running the 1500m more recently, because he sees it as his stronger event. If he thought he had 1:43 speed he would be running the 800 at Olympic Trials no question, but instead he's been working on the 1500m and shooting for that standard. But wow that 1500 closing in 55 was absolute fire and i think he'll run 3:33 at least this season if not 3:32.

    3. Totally with Garrett on this one. Futsum, imo, made a big mistake not going for it more. At least as a fan this was really disappointing for me to watch that race, especially with how slow it got.

    4. What can you do about racing Ches in a 5k? Big picture of McGorty shows that he can run pretty quick and his keeps getting out kicked by people, but frankly I think that's Stanford's training. When he goes Pro he'll be much better off. Those extra gears come along later... depending on where he goes... (Fisher places top 15 unless he blows up, but top 7 in my opinion is top he gets)

    5. Murphy imo should go 1500, but danggg Alex Fox you're bold as heck (as Jarrett might say). I think he very well might able to challenge for the win at the finals. I will say i think the 1500 is deeper than the 800.

    6. Mason Ferlic is looking great in the 3k SC. I think he finishes 5th in the trials. He's going to have to fix that last barrier and he's a bit too cocky for me to like his personality, but solid racer rn. But well said Alex Fox with the Grant Fisher comment.

7b. Ugh, Chart Miller killed me. And overall that 5k was ROUGH... So sad about this, bc i wanted to show you all i still had something left for predictions, but well done Alex Fox, you've really grown up, and i'm proud of you.
