Really fast DMRs with some really fast anchors. Kevin James splits 4:10.62 and that's the 4th fastest split in the race. O'Hara finishes 9th in 10:17.13. Morro splits 3:10, Cooper 50.8, Nolen 2:05.
St. Joe's Prep top team from PA in Heat 1. Daly splits 4:15.65 on the anchor to lead Prep's 10:20. Fisher 3:15, Green 50.6, McClellan 1:58.
Malvern Prep runs 10:24.92 with Wills splitting 3:09, Mueller 52.4, Doane 2:00 and McDevitt 4:22.

NCAA D1
Ches rolls and Soratos takes it hard in the prelim. Sets up an intriguing final. Ches still has a long weekend to go. Also I'm basically doomed already in predictions and there has only been one prelim event.
Kemboi and Capwell looked nice in the prelims of the 800. I've got a few dudes through to the final so I'm at least alive, but Andres Arroyo misses the final again in a bit of a surprise turn. He may end up like Loxsom, taking some time to get the feel for the prelims before breaking out.

ReplyDeleteTalked to Hock after the race he's been battling a stomach bug all week and it even crept up on him during the race, he was happy do finish manage an AA title and still have his dignity...
