Carlisle Preview Podcast: Sean Collins

I managed to drag Sean Collins on for my first guest on the podcast. I think he did a really great job, showing a wide variety of knowledge for a district 3 guy with some great first hand experience as a Carlisle grad.

Here is the link, let me know if it works and show sean some love for bringing his expertise on.

  5. My coach gave me the heads up this afternoon that they will be joining. Now have to change my winner to Hoey. Too tough to pick against him. Also forgot about Tidball in my rankings. He is now projected at 6th I'd say.

  6. Carlisle results are up! Brehm with a solid win in the challenge race running 15:23. That's a good sign, especially because it seemed like things ran a little slow today. Hoey only ran 15:53, Van Kooten and Gebhart came in around 16 flat. I would imagine all three are a little disappointed. Big news on the team side of things though. York Suburban stepped up into the Challenge race and wow, they are very very good. They were the top PA team beating out DTW and Henderson behind what has to be one of the best 1-2 punches in the state right now in Brady Wilt and Donovan Mears, who ran 16:08 and 16:10 respectively. Speaking of DTW and Henderson, that debate is far from over. They tied with 241 points a piece, but DTW's depth got them the win as their 6 was well ahead of Henderson's. LaSalle also ran well, continuing their nice season, as they finished only 4 points back of Henderson. Carlisle disappointed though, as they finished well back of the top teams. They always peak well, so it's tough to take too much away from today's performance, but it didn't seem to bode well.
