So right now is it scheduled for another showdown between Comber and Brophy in the mile? And do you think Sauer will even touch what he ran at the Armory?
I'd be pleasantly surprised to see Sauer anywhere under 1:55 this weekend. The armory is the fastest track there is (with the exception of maybe PSU) and when you are on a relay with excellent competition and chasing people it's a lot easier to run fast than when you are running an open event against a bit weaker of a field. But he already surprised me once at Burdette so who knows.
The Brophy v. Comber showdowns have been phenomenal in the past few months. I'd love to see another one (and it's scheduled to be that way), but I think there is a good chance both guys scratch out and run the DM instead so we may not see it this weekend.
