District Previews are Complete

I have now posted a preview for every single district and every single class. I will be checking each of them for comments and discussion, but if you prefer you can leave general comments and discussion about the week on this post. District 8 is already done and the rest of the action starts tomorrow! Very excited, I think this is going to be the most competitive series of district meets in state history.

As always questions, comments, concerns or ideas let me know!

PS Independent league preview will come once some of the district action begins.

  2. Is Shanahan in the independent league? Im pretty sure they are a private school but they are in your D1 AA prediction. If they are private, doesnt that allow them to recruit? Not that they have been very good up until this year but still.

    1. I think a lot of catholic league schools are private and compete in the piaa so it's not that odd for Shanahan to do the same ... They have been d1 as long as I can remember

  3. Full district 3 results are up now on runhigh ... Some results were fairly predictable but also a slew of surprises (well surprises to me anyway) including a big win by Hempfield! Congrats to all state qualifiers!

  4. Interesting Question, what do you think the true test for the best team in the state. Would you think the best is actually the way it is scored at the statement with many other runners making the score higher or if each team would have a dual meet against each other. Just a thought.
