DT West is beast
ReplyDeleteDT West won the Manhattan invite by like 20 some points, not sure if CBA was racing a full squad or not but they had Blaise Ferro running, CBA was llke 4th or 5th in the team standings
ReplyDeleteCBW looked really solid today with a 16 minute average. I don't think they'll be very close to DTW at districts however.
ReplyDeleteAlso stoked about CRN's 1-5 13 second spread. These kids are making states.
I was looking through the Manhattan results and didn't expect DTW to have won because their spread looked pretty significant relative to CBA. I think that race was probably more challenging than Districts and States will be, and they're Nationals bound if they can replicate it in late November.
DeleteTennent is almost definitely short (or at least blazing fast), but CBW and CRN looked great. Their pack will likely break up at Districts, but I wouldn't be surprised if Heintz or Haas breaks 16.
Ryan James ran 16:02 at DELCO. 2 years ago, Chris Kazanjian ran 16:02 at DELCO and then 16:08 at States. Last year, Ryan James ran his PR at States. Don't sleep on him.
*Disclaimer*
ReplyDeleteTennent is short
Dwest just took on some of the most respected xc programs in the country, bent them over a barrel and showed them the fifty states.
ReplyDeleteGreat comment
