Prediction Contest: Win an Etrain T-Shirt!

By: Garrett Zatlin

For the past few weeks, Etrain supporters and fans have been flocking to the blog writers via social media and asking about where they can get an Etrain t-shirt. The demand became so much that we decided to use an Etrain t-shirt as a reward for a prediction contest. The only catch? The prediction contest will be about the NCAA XC championships which are happening this Saturday! Let's breakdown everything you need to know...

THE PREDICTION CONTEST
  • There are actually TWO ways to win the prediction contest. You can submit...
    • Your top 10 teams (in the order that you think they'll finish)
    • Your top 10 individuals (in the order that you think they'll finish)
  • There will be TWO winners. The winner of the team contest and the winner of the individual contest will each get a t-shirt. You can submit team AND individual predictions (if you'd like)
  • Prediction entries will close on Saturday at 10:00am (EST)
HOW WILL YOU SCORE THE PREDICTIONS?
  • The difference between where you predict someone placing and where they actually place will be how many points that person gets you. For example, if you predict Cheserek to place 6th and he places 4th, then you get 2 points added to your score.
  • The maximum difference one runner can earn you is 15 points. For example, if I predict Tiernan to place 100th and he places 120th, then the difference added to you score is maxed out at 15 points. This is to ensure that one runner doesn't completely ruin your predictions.
  • Lowest score wins.
HOW/WHERE CAN I SUBMIT MY PREDICTIONS
  • You can submit your predictions in any of the following ways...
    • Comment below
    • Message us on Twitter (@TheRealTrain11)
    • Message me (Garrett Zatlin) on Facebook
    • e-mail us at lxvplus@gmail.com
  • We understand and respect our readers wishes to remain anonymous. So just be sure to attach some kind of alias/label so that we know who won. We'll make a post about who won so that we can get in contact with the winners.
THE SHIRTS
  • Once we figure out the winners and what sizes are needed, the shirts will be delivered to your front door (free of charge)!
  • The shirts can be pictured below. We're just going to call these "special edition" Etrain shirts since we have some flexibility with our finances to make them a little nicer.
  • The "Name" on the back will read "Train Hard"
  • The "00" on the back will actually be an "11"

RESOURCES

That's all I've got on my end! So look at the rankings, do some research, and submit those predictions!

Good luck,
Garrett
